    Year 1 enjoyed making a fire and cooking popcorn as part of their outdoor learning. Making the fire. Cooking the popcorn. Eating!    

Eden Falconry Visit Year 2


Last week the children in year two had a wonderful visit from Eden Falconry. They saw some amazing birds and learnt all about them. The children got to see a display with the birds flying and have a Q&A session in the classrooms.

The Sunshine Football Tournament


The sun shone brightly on a fantastic morning of football. A team of year 2 children represented the school in a SECAT tournament with Richmond, Thorpedene and Hinguar schools. The children had a really enjoyable and energetic morning and all were proud to receive a medal.

Punch and Judy visit Year 1


The Year one children enjoyed a brilliant Punch and Judy show as part of their toys topic.  They will now be designing and making puppets and using these to create their own plays.

Commemorating 100 years since the end of WW1 at Bournes Green Infant School.


As part of the SECAT academy, Bournes Green Infant School took part in a Legacy Box project with activities to commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1.
