The Friends of Bournes Green Infant School are a voluntary group working closely with the school to raise money to supply ‘extras’ not provided by the school budget and to help enrich our children’s learning experiences. Funds have been used for purchasing a new reading scheme, new sports, playground, music and ICT equipment.
We raise this money by a number of events including a Summer Fayre and Christmas Bazaar where children, parents, teachers and friends have an opportunity to socialise and participate in our fun evenings.
Throughout the year we organise children’s discos, book sales and several social nights, which are very enjoyable and popular evenings.
We are proud to say that all of our events are very well supported by children, parents and staff. We are aware that we are fortunate to have this level of support in our school.
